Dave Deeks: When Will I ever Learn?
When will I ever learn I'm His concern through every day -
That He is watching me in all I do and say ?
When will I be convinced - I've known Him since I was a child
Yet often from Him I turn aside
Tell me when will I know a constant glow deep down inside
Fully accepting why my Lord was crucified
When will I appreciate His love so great, His matchless grace
Must I wait 'til I see Him face to face?
The answer is plain, the answer's clear
For every moment He is near
And all I need do is turn to Him
The One who forgives my doubt and sin
And all I need do is turn to Him.
I pray to the Lord above for strength enough to face each day
For He has my future planned, protected by His hand
This poor weak faith I feel, though small, is real
By His grace I know He'll never ever let me go.
What I see now is very dim, but when I come face to face with Him
Then I will know as I am known, the day when He comes to take me home
The day when He comes to take me home
