Are you ready for the storms of life?
Is your armour on, are you ready to fight?
Do you come prepared for the judgement day
When Jesus returns and takes His loved ones away - are you ready?
Are you ready? - is your lamp alight?
And do you have enough oil to burn right through the night?
When the Bridegroom comes will He let you in
To walk and talk and sup with Him - are you ready?
Are you ready? - do you feel a pain
When you see others who don't trust in His name
Are you eager to tell what you know -
And introduce them to Jesus who loves them so? - are you ready?
Help me Lord to be prepared
By reading your word and showing your care
And demonstrating to all around
The Love I know, and the Joy I've found - keep me ready.
