Lord I'm not spiritual, like other men are
But the feeling's almost physical that you're there
I know that you are
Though I know that I'm not spiritual like other men are
I know some people read your word all through the day and the night
I must confess here Lord this isn't me
Though I'm sure that they're right
Please forgive me as I come to you, how I love being near
Knowing I am weak but you are strong melts away all my fear
Though I know that I'm not spiritual like other men are
Now I don't claim I'm theological - heavy exposition's far beyond
me
But deep down in my heart I know you have planted a seed
And day by day you'll come and water it 'til it grows to a tree
A tree that represents your kingdom Lord that is living in me
Though I know that I'm not spiritual like other men are
And as I contemplate your greatness Lord
I feel worthless and small
And as I think about your righteousness
I'm worth nothing at all
I know that I'm not spiritual
But it seems Lord to me
Experiencing your presence here like this
Is how you meant it to be
I know that I'm not spiritual (x 4)
But I know, I know that you love me
